Your undertaking is in scrupulously designing each headline, and untangling the web of secrets surrounding these caped crusaders. To do so, you will need to infiltrate a world where heroes and villains collide in spectacular clashes, a show with no safety rails. Welcome to the thrilling, perilous, and captivating life of the superhero Reporter.

The Reporter can act as a foil to the classic superhero archetype, offering a lens to how a hero is perceived within their own world. Whether a hero is loved, feared, or even despised by the Reporter, can paint a vast range of tone and genre to play with.  You can also play the Reporter as an investigator, using your nose for a story to explore the city, and introduce flashes of intrigue into a campaign.

The Reporter is a hero without superpowers, inspired by characters such as Lois Lane, J Jonah Jameson,  April O’Neil, and Tintin.  A reporter does not necessarily have to be a “journalist”, and can fall more under the broader umbrella of investigators, such as John Watson, the Question, and the entire Scooby-Doo Gang.
